Share your Pujo Look – and with it, the Joy of Celebrations!
What started as a way to grab onto the kindling festive spirit and make it burn bright during dark times, turned out to be one of the most popular events that the Rangoli squad awaits every year – and we have you to thank for making this possible!
For the third consecutive year, the response to our ‘Share your Pujo Look’ Contest has been massive. We love seeing everyone decked up in their best, filling the frame with their brightest smiles, and sharing the festive vibe for us to rejoice in, thus making Rangoli a part of their joyous moments. It reaffirmed our faith in what made us start the ‘Share your Pujo Look’ Contest in the first place, back in the year 2020.

After the world came to a sudden halt due to the Covid-19 outbreak and people had to shut themselves inside their own homes, the joys of the festivities seemed to take a hit too. With people being away from their loved ones, celebrations became bleak. Yet a faint hope of better days kept us sane during the uncertainty of the tough times – perhaps, like every year, the arrival of the Divine Goddess may save us from the darkness.

Hence, Durga Pujo became yet another means for us to summon Shakti for granting us strength, faith, and a little share of happiness. What if we don't let the festive spirit dim? What if we can still look our best and share our little joyous moments with the world to see and garner hope? What if the joy of celebrations is just as contagious, that it might reach our loved ones across the globe? Through our ‘Share your Pujo Look’ Contest, we wanted to create a platform to encourage people to dress up in their best, right from the safety of their homes, and share their ‘Durga Puja look’ with us, all the while offering them a chance to win some exciting goodies from the house of Rangoli – and the response was beyond our imagination! With our feed and comments being flooded with gorgeous pictures and happy smiles every day during the festivities, the world indeed seemed a little brighter. That’s what festivals are all about!
With the world slowly healing its way back to the usual humdrum, flooding lights, and busy streets during the festival, we are glad that the joy of sharing your precious moments still resonates with the crowd. Your overwhelming response to the Contest for this year too made us realise how Rangoli has become a part of your celebrations. We, at Rangoli, would love to carry it forward. Shubho Bijoya!
